As any advanced hospital amenity, the Kedos bed responds to the needs of two equally important users: the patient on the one hand, and medical and paramedical staff on the other.
The needs of these two distinct users have been carefully analysed in determining the bed’s design criteria. The patient's wellbeing also depends on the working conditions of the caregiver.
In this sense, Kedos proves to be the ideal amenity to facilitate the work of the staff and contribute to improving the overall quality of care.

SETTINGS
As is well known, form and function are the intrinsic elements that characterise any industrial design project.In developing Kedos, one of the most important functional assumptions in the creative process arose from studying the movement of the siderails. Their fluid, perfectly safe motion renders the siderails one of the key elements that transform this bed into a veritable “therapeutic aid”, a tool for care and assistance. Studying this movement has made it possible to achieve an important effect: functionality combined with the originality of a strong aesthetic impact.

FITTINGS
During the design process, questions of ecology and sustainability played an extremely important role: the goal was to create a product in line with the most selective standards in terms of the environment and recyclability. With Kedos, Missaglia has realised a project which is completely made in Italy and ideal for the new global markets. The materials used—recycled aluminium, recycled steel, and recycled plastic—have been chosen both to minimise environmental impact and to ensure the product's successful resistance to wear and consequently long-life cycle, at the end of which the careful design has provided for easy disassembly and further materials recovery.Here are all the Kedos bed fittings.
