The Company
Founded in 1926, Missaglia Srl is the result of three consecutive generations of committed leadership, each following the other at the helm of the company without interruption. Over time, Missaglia has developed a deep understanding of the needs of patients and their caregivers. Their safety and wellbeing is the goal that inspires our furniture design for hospitals and care homes.

1960
Silvio Missaglia directs his business and production endeavours towards establishing Silvio Missaglia & Figli S.a.s. with his sons.
1994
Missaglia establishes “Consorzio Cesas”, a specialised facility operating in the sociomedical assistance sector.
1999
Cesas Consorzio builds the care home Corte Briantea with project financing and takes on its management.
2000
Ceima is created and, with project financing, the new company builds the Magnetic Resonance facility for Vimercate Hospital (MB), taking on its management.
2001
Corte Briantea is established in Muggiò (MB).
2003
The association “Silvio Missaglia Onlus” is established in memory of the founder of “Fratelli Missaglia” to promote scientific research dedicated to older people.
2005
“Residenze Saccardo S.p.A.”, a Milan-based care home facility established by Missaglia S.p.A., opens.
2010
Research continues into the design of furniture and systems for hospitals and care homes, as well as aids aimed at contributing to patients wellbeing and facilitating the assistance of medical and paramedical staff.
2019
Studies on IOT, resins, and air cleaning begin.
2021
With Corte Briantea’s 20th anniversary, the new website is launched and a social media presence is established.

Missaglia’s raison d'être is the research, development, and implementation of technological systems and solutions that improve safety and quality of life for patients and medical staff in hospitals and care homes.
